Department Of Defense
Main Introduction
The Department Of Defense has it's own mission, which is to deter war, make habbo a great place, a friendly environment to work in. The Department Of Defense has it's separations from foreign militaries, wishes for a success. Only way we can do this is if you join us today, by searching DoD in the navigator!
Section A. Workers’ Rights
The Department Of Defense understands the rights of, and values the interests of, its workers, how they are managed.
DoD personnel expect to be treated with respect and fairness. They desire to play Habbo in a social, friendly, and safe environment, free of harassment, bullying, and threats, as we deal with foreign threats very seriously unlike other places. We believe in second chances here at DoD
The Department of Defense puts the workers in a fair right community, well-being at the pinnacle of the Mission.
Section B. DoD's fair use of Rights
The Department Of Defense expects its personnel to the same values and beliefs that the organisation itself. No member of DoD shall:
Break the Habbo Way, Disrespect or treat unfairly fellow workers
Discriminate against others based on; Race, Religion, Sexual Orientation, Gender, Creed, etc.
Harass, bully, and/or threaten others, believe that they should all get along failure to do this could result in a discharge.
Section C. Freedom of Personnel
The Department Of Defense are subject to have a say before/after any discharge is wrote, usually you can end up on "blacklist investigation" meaning within 72 hours a decision for you will be made, but you may sign a pardon within this time or a regination. every personnel, regardless of rank may have a say, to a senior officer, about the issue, although keep in mind they are busy.
Section D. Discipline
The Department Of Defense agrees, to give out discipline, however this depends on the reason, that we believe workers shouldn't be punished for things they didn't do, therefore listen to Section C, freedom.

Verbal - All E7 plus in the performance of duties can issue a formal verbal warning.

Action Report Form - All DoD Personnel can file an ARF . ARFs can be found on the "Action Report" Boards.
IARF - Immediate Action Report file, this is where Major incidents in DoD need to be attended to.

Administrative - administrative, non-judicial and punitive punishment that must be issued by an offender’s CO. Article 19 can result in a permanent demotion of one (1) rank, a Promotion Lock for one (1) month, and the loss of a Command post, if applicable. Administrative punishment must be referred to JAG so the defendant may seek legal counsel. Article 19 must be reported to the OJAG/ONAVIG.
General Courts Martial - A general court-martial is the most serious level of military courts. It consists of a military judge, trial counsel, defence counsel, and at least five court members. A JNCO+ may request a court trial. To see more detail about this please visit regulation 5 which states the requirements.

Section E, HQ Duties and Stations, procedure
All stations have their responsibilities. The requirement for each one is stated on regulation 8. Procedures: Must be 2 people on front row to assume Quartermaster (which the third person will do) otherwise fill the front. For LDMD two people need to be on front row and a third on QM. for RDMD there needs to be 3 on front row, 1 on QM and 1 on LDMD. DMO's can do their duty when their are 3+ on front row regardless of other area's but are advised to follow HQ protocol in filling up stations which are a priority.

At DMD, They are in charge of keeping an eye on front row, to make sure everything is going well, if not DMD Can ask/ or even if it is bad, give warnings. They can also if one or more DMD, comes active can help manage sentry, make sure that no trolls/ discharged personnel get into HQ. DMD can only be accessed when 2 or more people are on front row, 1 on QM. LDMD will control all ATE's and manage HQ. If RDMD is filled they will not handle ATE's, will instead handle HQ to ensure there are no trolls within HQ and that operations run smooth making it easier for LDMD to control ATE's

Will stand next to DMD, assist them in completing duties. if their are no other active stations like DMD/Quartermaster they will help assist front row in ensuring that recruitment is going well.
TU - Transfer Unit
(TU) - Defense transfer unit, NPC are there to help transfers, if no one is around, check for any people discharged attempting to enter either HQ, Or loitering, in HQ. There are no requirements for front row to be filled to assume this role, especially as civilians will wait at the transfer desk.

Quartermaster (QM) - to manage incoming personnel, who want to come into HQ, subject to lobby personnel that are not in correct B.U.M and should be filled when available/when more then one people are on front row.
Section F. Room Rights and Badge Admin
Room Rights and Badge Admin are distributed by the Joint Forces Command (JFC) ONLY, to those members of USNDoD-HQ staff as they may deem necessary.
No Habbo outside of DoD shall have Room Rights or Badge Admin unless authorised in writing by the SecDef.
Do not ask for Room Rights or Badge Admin. Seeking these rights for any reason, or holding these Rights without the explicit authorisation of the CNO will result in disciplinary action, up to and including Dishonourable Discharge.

Section G. The Habbo Way and Personal Privacy
The Habbo Way shall be followed at all times within Department Of Defense rooms, by all personnel, VIP, Allies, Foreign Dignitaries, Guests, and/or Visitors.
The seeking or providing of Personal Information violates the Habbo Way. Therefore it is the strict policy of the DoD that for any individual to do so violates our Rules, Regulations, Policies (RUP) and can result in disciplinary action.
Section H. Attendance Policy
This is, a policy, of DoD that all Personnel are to be active as often as possible within USNDoD-HQ HQ. Activity is defined as 2 hours weekly on client, on duty and 2 hours weekly performing Forum works, or unless "OL".
The Department Of Defense understands that Habbo is a game, and therefore does not expect that Habbo shall take needed time, over any Real Life requirements of time. It is firmly understood by the DoD that Habbo is a hobby, and therefore allows for personnel to remain in the military.
Section I. Ranks and Roles of the Department Of Defense!
- Subsection 1. Enlisted
The Enlisted ranks of DoD are:
(E-0) Recruit - A civilian who has yet to complete BC, is to obtain the knowledge of DoD.
(E-1) Seaman Recruit (SR) - Recruits who have completed BC. The duty of DoD is to perform the Recruitment duties and acquire ATEs.
(E-2) Seaman Apprentice (SA)- Seaman are required to perform Recruitment duties, as well as acquire ATE's such as boot camp continued.
(E-3) Seaman (SN) - A Seaman, perform Recruitment duties, including supervise Recruitment efforts, acquire ATEs, and gain knowledge in order to become an JCNO.
- Subsection 2 - JNCO
A. Junior NCO
(E-4) Petty Officer Third Class (PO3) - continue to perform Recruitment duties. PO3's are authorised to request the Personnel Identification Badge, register on the forums (dept-defensehabbo.boards.net), acquire the training for, and perform after successful completion of {L}. PO3's are able to apply for multiple MOS's (Military Occupational Office, aka offices). Some are subject to higher ranks and would have to wait until RST (Recommended Service Time) is reached, to fit the minimum requirements.
(E-5)Petty Officer Second Class (PO2) - PO2's perform all duties of those personnel below them. PO1 should be looked at by senior personnel, and Officers as future leaders. po2'S who meet requirements should strongly consider this step in their careers in the DoD, PO1 is a big step up, expect to have good grammar, spelling (SPAG).
(E-6) Petty Officer First Class (PO1) - PO1's perform all duties of those personnel below them. It is a requirement for all E-6 to be in an MOS for further promotion to a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer rank.
- Subsection 3 - Senior NCO (Senior Non Commissioned Officer)
(E-7) Chief Petty officer (CPO) - CPO's can request and be certified on the Duty Management Desk Station. CPO's are also able To apply for Head NCO positions/BHNCO within DoD, and the SABHNCO (Senior Advisor to the Branch Head NCO)
(E-8) Senior Chief Petty Officer (SCPO) - SCPO's are responsible for performing all duties which they have acquired to this point. SCPO's are able to apply for the Warrant Officer Exam Course (WOEC).
(E-9) Master Chief Petty Officer (MCPO) - are able to apply for and serve in command positions such as MCPON. They are expected to be very professional as they're on the road to Warrant Officer. They are also one rank from CMCPO
(E-9B) Command Master Chief Petty Officer - This is the rank just before Warrant Officer and cannot be promoted unless completing the WO exam {R}.

(E-10) Master Chief Petty Officer Of The Navy (MCPON's) - the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the CNO; the CNO is responsible for morale and welfare of the entire enlisted corps of the DoD. They should be the top NCO, be very professional.

Section J. Raising Revenue and Usages
The Department Of Defense shall raise revenues through the sale of VIP to all persons not employed by the Dept-DefenseHQ. Employees who donate 50c plus will be allowed to hold the Donor badge. The Donor badge allows DoD staff who resign or retire honourably to access VIP and AFK areas, in HQ.
Section K, VIP Terms and Conditions
When you are in VIP, you are an example of what VIP is like, therefore we have certain terms.
VIP can be purchased by habbos from the rank of VADM and above.
The Department Of Defense offers a Very Important Pixel badge, entitled the “VIP,” which allows habbo's who have paid 20c to sit in the VIP area only.
The DoD offers an enhanced VIP option for habbo's who wish to utilise the AFK area of HQ and access DoD forums. Enhanced VIP cost is 50c. And terms still apply.
VIPs are able to access the VIP area through the Group Gate provided in the lobby or through the Installation Entrance Controller (IEC) point. I'f the gate doesn't work nor personnel is online you may add a officer, as then you will be added, if an officer is online, you may proceed, through sentry, if the gate does/doesn't work.
VIP must proceed immediately to the VIP seating area, grab a drink on the way, unless an Attention is called.
VIP must wear the DoD VIP badge, unless free VIP hours come on, but if a troll comes, you might be banned/kicked, so try, wear the badge. while entering through the IEC and while within DoD areas at all times. VIP's get access to certain things, like ceremonies, in a VIP area. Usually this is also for Platinum VIP's, but we treat our VIP's like the way they should be.
VIP shall not man duty stations, or in any other ways inhibit or distract the DoD personnel and/or operations while moving to authorised VIP areas.
VIP are subject to all of the rules and policies of the DoD and the Habbo Way while within DoD areas.
Violation of the VIP or DoD policies will result in the loss of all VIP privileges.
VIP can be revoked at any time with or without cause without notice by AF/CC.
Officers of foreign groups who have an agreement with DoD are authorised entrance into the DoD's VIP area in the same manner that paid VIP have access, regulation "6"
Foreign officers are subject to the Terms of the Agreement, DoD Rules, Regulations, Policies, as well as their organisation’s Legislation.
Mute, Kick, or Bans will result in the person’s home group being informed as to the reason.
The Agreement between the DoD and a foreign group supersedes the VIP privileges and rights stated above.

Section L, Alternative Accounts
The Department Of Defense allows for clones to come into HQ, mainly not in VIP area's most of the time or in base.
Terms are still followed, you may bring them along there is no double jobbing.
Section M. Warfare
DoD does not allow bullying, or any threats that include warfare, like attempting to get people's IP or this can result in a Discharge of even Never Rehire!
The Department Of Defense reserves the rights to declare war upon any foreign group for reasons which shall be stated at the time of formal declaration.
Formal Declarations of War shall be posted on our official forums, as well as delivered to the foreign organisations' foreign affairs department Head by the CNO. Read section D, subsection 2

Section N: Chain of Command
Within the Department of Defense we have a chain of command that is responsible for ensuring a family friendly, safe environment. We have three sections of ranks within DoD. NCO - Non Commissioned Officer, Sometimes you might hear SNCO (Senior Non Commissioned Officer), WO - Warrant Officer and finally Officer. The NCO's are the lower ranks within the Department of Defense and will do a lot of HQ work, whereas CWO's and Officer's do more forum work to ensure everything is looking professional and up to date. The Officer's are the most senior personnel and are able to help with any questions you have.
As well as this, we have many positions One of the offices with positions in is called the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV). The positions in this office are called:
- Joint Forces Command (JFC) - Only for Multiple Branches not Navy only, currently not in use.
- Chief of Naval Operations (CNO)
- Vice Chief of Naval Operations (VCNO)
- Director of Naval Staff (DNS)
The Chief of Naval Operations is for O7+ and is currently Admiral Tumon360. He is responsible for overseeing the Navy Branch to ensure all the Navy work is correct and that everything is running smoothly within DoD. The VCNO is the CNO's deputy and will help manage the Navy to ensure that everything runs smoothly, just like the CNO but will be more active and double check the CNO's work and ensure the progress of the Navy is going well.
The director of Naval Staff is for O4+ Who are more active in HQ and ensure that all the personnel are taking their exams and offices are running correctly and people aren't trolling around in HQ. He will oversee the offices and ensure the progress of the Navy is going higher daily.
For non commissioned officer's we also have many positions which they can apply for. We have a Head Non-Commissioned Officer (HNCO) for each office. This will be for members E7+ who have gained a lot of knowledge about their current office and want to show more leadership within the office. They are expected to be over achieving in their offices standards and have shown a high variety of skills. The office director will choose a HNCO.
The Branch Head Non Commissioned Officer (BHNCO) serves under the CNO for NCO's and is responsible for the NCO's in their branch. The BHNCO should have a lot of knowledge on the offices and good at problem solving. He will be helping NCO's out with any issues they may have. He will also be responsible for all leaves for NCO's, making sure they're on the correct reserve duty and making sure the NCO's of the branch runs smoothly.
He will be the one who has most knowledge of NCO's and should be there when you need him/her. To apply read the application centre, which will give more detail on the position. You must be E7+ to apply and all requirements are listed on that board. The position for BHNCO for the Navy is the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON).To apply SABHNCO - Senior Advisor, Branch Head Non-Commissioned officer (SWOAN) you must be CW2+ to apply.

In the department of Defense we have a variety of career paths to choose from, listed below is the name of each office. Personnel can only join one office as well as one sub office. You will need written approval from OPNAV to join more then 1 office.
Navy Education & Training Command - NE&TC
The Navy Education & Training Command team is responsible for all the training within DoD, ensuring that people are obtaining ATE's and increasing their knowledge of the Department of Defense. The Chief of Naval Education and Training (CNET) is the leader of this office and for any questions regarding this office speak to a member of NE&TC who wear brown berets.
Navy Personnel Command (NPC)
These members are responsible for personnel and external organisation members wanting to transfer into the Department Of Defense. As a member of NPC you will be challenged with transferring people from a foreign organisation and getting them to join DoD as an appropriate rank. As well as this anybody who is transferring into the US Navy branch will be mentored by someone within the Navy. The mentor will make sure they are getting the required tasks complete within 7 days. More of this will be explained within the acceptance letter.
Navy International Program Office (NIPO)
NIPO is responsible for the foreign affairs within the Department of Defense. They will set up alliances, relations, solve foreign domestic issues that arise within DoD. They are the front line of peacekeeping within the Habbo floor. To learn more about this apply via application centre otherwise look for someone with a blue beret.
Office of the Navy Inspector General (ONAVIG)
Office of the Navy Inspector General are the Military Police within the Department of Defense, US Navy. Their job is to ensure the correct procedures and regulations are followed within HQ. They will issue infractions, manage HQ to ensure people are in the correct uniform and are also responsible for the discharges of personnel under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). ONAVIG wear red berets and black vests. To learn more you can visit application centre or ask someone in ONAVIG.
