The Department Of Defense Illegal Warfare act, section A.

Section B, If a war is met.
I'f a war is met the Department Of Defense will set up a meeting within 72 hours with the DAFL, DFA, a CO/OSD member. Therefore a treaty maybe made lasting a month, if so the Departent Of Defense will place sanctions, for example like unable to visit HQ's. As said before Illegal warfare shall never be used against anyone.
Section C, Public letter.
The Department Of Defense has many ways of stopping wars, for example is writing a letter of apology.

In the case that tensions rise between DoD and another organisation we have 5 stages of a Defcon status. 5 being the best and 1 being the worst. It is important that we never reach below DEFCON 3. You can find our status on the sticky notes in HQ.
DEFCON 5: all relations are good with other organisations (current Defcon)
DEFCON 4: Tensions are rising with another organisation, which is causing an unstable relationship
DEFCON 3: Relations are critical with 1/another organisation's
DEFCON 2: A peace treaty is required to be signed or subject to DEFCON 1
DEFCON 1: A war criteria has been met
